Anyone who knows Dr. Doug Shafer knows he loves to make people laugh. He's also been quoting movies and impersonating characters for very nearly his entire life. That's why he found a way to blend these passions with dentistry to create Dental Impressions, video skits that add dental twists to favorite movies and famous scenes.
Dr. Shafer believes in doing quality dentistry in a comfortable environment, and joking and having fun help him put patients at ease. He films these with his family or dental team members at our Beaverton dental office, or sometimes in local parks in the Beaverton, Tigard, and Hillsboro area. It's next-level dorky dental humor at its best.
Some of his most beloved videos are spoofs of "The Princess Bride," James Bond, "Hamilton," and "Field of Dreams." He even takes on Holiday flicks like "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" (Hermey the Elf who wants to be a dentist? You know he had to do it!)
